Chris Gorecki

I am a classically trained painter, using a variety of materials and mediums. I strive to engage the viewers by translating a story without using any words. Creating an emotional narrative attempting to capture emotion, passion, and soul through broad strokes of color and texture.

I find that I can express myself to my full potential through large formats of abstract oil paintings. The rich saturated colors and deep textures convey my ability to process my stories.

I have been also experimenting with reclaiming old drop canvases. utilizing the existing paint and texture to drive my inspiration. and to create new forms of imagery. My intent is to capture a brief moment in time. Expressing a glimpse of truth, by showing that we are all connected, through common emotions.

Over the years, I have always searched for new and expressive ways to share my passion for the arts. Drawing inspiration from all forms of artistic expression. I started reaching out to all artistic communities looking for ways to collaborate with theaters, musicians, and dancers. This is the hope to develop a framework, where each discipline shares there own process, philosophies, and motives. Helping to mold each other into a unified vision. In turn, elevating each other to see art in a new and exciting way.

I am always looking for new and interesting ways to learn so that my art can be impactful. I am very invested in bringing the idea of collaboration of the arts, to communities needing a voice. Using the framework described above to help bring awareness for multiple charitable organizations. Helping them build stronger communities through all forms of art and expressing a unified message. Through the universal language of art, we can be uniquely individual but stronger together.
